Guardian program

We now offer puppies to approved Guardian homes.

Our Guardian Program is designed with our breeding dogs best Interest at heart. It is our number one goal to give our dogs the best life they deserve, while remaining top quality breeding dogs for future generations. Guardian homes play a great role in facilitating our breeding program by helping to rear puppies into wonderful future breeders and to provide them with the individual attention and life long home they deserve. Puppies chosen for Guardian homes have been selected carefully to remain in our breeding program. ~Requirements for Guardian home opportunities~

Must live within 3 hours from our home located in Centralia, WA 98531.

Must own your home with no plans on moving for up to 4 years.

Must have your own transportation and be willing to transport guardian dog to our home during breeding season, whelping and weaning puppies. Breedings are typically one week twice a year and 7 weeks during whelping and weaning puppies.

Must maintain proper routine veterinarian care, monthly flea and heart worm prevention. Basic training and proper grooming for guardian dog at your expense. Crate training and proper socialization skills.

Pass a background check and home inspection.

Must not own any intact male or female dogs.

Must prevent unplanned pregnancies. If the guardian dog becomes pregnant while in your care, you will loose ownership of said dog and guardian dog will be return to Emerald City Dalmatians at your expense.

Emerald City Dalmatians will remain as legal owner of the guardian dog during the contracted time frame, provide all health testing and breeding expenses.

First vet exam, age appropriate vaccinations and deworming, microchip, hearing test. Starter bag food, toys, leash/collar, food/water bowl. Contract and all health records supplied to guardian home. 30 days of insurance.

Guardian dog will reside with the Guardian family and all rights transferred to guardian home when said dog is released from the program.

All health testing and breeding expenses will be paid by Emerald City Dalmatians.
